The Art Gallery

A couple years ago, I was checking things off my bucket list. I am getting older and have a chronic illness and so it was important to make sure I did some stuff that I have always wanted to do. 

One of those things on my bucket list was to have my art in an art gallery. So when I searched for the local art gallery and saw that they were accepting applications for local artists, I sent in a couple pictures and got accepted! To be fair, they accept something from everyone who applies, I'm not saying I'm anything special.

So upon leaving the artist reception, where the people interested in the art, gets to meet the people who do the art, I stopped and took this picture as we walked out at the end of the night.

The following year, I drew this picture adding in some details and just having fun with it. Now, this picture is printed and hanging in the gallery once again as I write this! I donated it to the Platteville Rountree Art Gallery.

I used my Procreate app on my iPad to draw. Below I will post the reverence photo and the drawing I did.
