The Lancaster Coffee Shop

So I did this drawing of The Coffee Tree coffee shop in Lancaster, Wisconsin.

My mom's friend's parents own this coffee shop and she brought me their to visit her. My mom and I would go in, my mom would get coffee and I'd order an organic juice that they made while you waited. We would get scones or a panini and just sit and chill in the adorable atmosphere they have made there.

Old vintage china coffee cups line their counters. They have plants everywhere. Local artists hang there paintings on the wall, a different artist every month. And once when I was their around Christmas time, the owners were dressed as Mr and Mrs Santa Claus while a pianist played Christmas music in the background. It was simply a wonderfully charming experience.

The last day I was there with my mom, before she passed, I took these two pictures and later drew them. I then donated the pictures to the Coffee Shop to do what they will with them. <3
